Gen Ryokan Ikenotaira

This traditional Japanese ryokan  offers a true luxury experience. Very well appointed rooms are both spacious and stylish, featuring the finest Japanese fittings including tatami floors and shoji screens. Rooms have the option of private balcony onsens and all have private ensuites.

Gen is located in a secluded natural forest within walking distance of the Ikenotaira lifts. The ryokan also features a private outdoor onsen that can be used only by guests of the hotel, making for an amazing experience after a big day on the hill.
